Frequently Asked Questions

Hi there! Have some questions about our company or roofing? Find the answers below.

  • How long will my roof last?

A roof’s lifespan will be affected by several things such as material quality,  roof design, local climate, and can be affected by something as simple as trees hanging over your roof surface and dropping leaves, and branches onto it.

  • How do I recognize when my roof is having issues before it's too late?

There are many areas within a roof system that can be damaged or fail due to weather or age. That’s why it is a smart decision to hire a professional roof inspection of your roof. Ideally inspected, at least once a year in the springtime as the freezing and thawing that can cause significant  damage will now be seen.

  • I have a roof leak, do I need an entirely new roof?

A leaking roof is not only an inconvenience it can also cause significant damage to the structure and interior of your home. This does not necessarily mean you will need the entire roof replaced. call a professional to assess the roof and determine if a repair or replacement is necessary,

  • How much will a new roof cost?

A new roof cost will vary based on the  materials used, architecture style of the building, size of the project, market costs, and the hired contractor.

  • I have received estimates from multiple contractors and the prices vary greatly, why?

Many contractors that submit below-cost bids may seem attractive, but frequently these contractors are often uninsured, subcontract out all of the work entirely or perform substandard work.    If one of your estimates is significantly lower than the rest and seems too good to be true, it probably is. It is a good idea to ask around your community for who others use or recommend.

  • What causes my roof to wear out?

Weather damage is the most often cause of roof wear out.  When a home's roof faces the south and/or west side of their homes these tend to wear out first due to increased weather elements from storms (rain, sleet, hail, and wind) that develop and move across the region from the south and west and move north and east.

  • My home has a flat roof on it. What roof type do I use?

A flat roof has many possibilities for materials that are made specifically for flat roofs.  These options will depned on homeowner preference of color, cost, or specific material used.  There is a broad range of options available to choose from.

  • I want a new roof system installed. What kind of warranty can I receive?
